I have something I need to tell you.
I’ve been writing this newsletter for a few days now. I can’t tell you what draft edition this is. There’s a whole group of people out there, especially on here, on this platform, that would say I shouldn’t be dedicating so much time and effort to “perfecting” this piece.
But here’s the thing, even as a healing perfectionist, this piece hasn’t been about perfection. It's been about writing and editing, writing and editing, and writing more until the message came through with clarity.

You see, my first draft was an exploration of why my work matters, or whether it matters at all. Just a few days ago I was caught in the swirl. My to-do list felt overwhelmingly long, the space of in-between felt far too heavy, and I was craving a sense of consistency and normalcy.
Those feelings led me to question my work: if I am a minimalist, who’s yet to create a family, and I have the freedom and flexibility that comes with being an entrepreneur and I feel utterly paralyzed by life, then what was I selling people? Am I actually helping anyone or am I offering a fairytale that sounds good on paper, but doesn’t translate to real world results?
But my higher self knew better than to toss all I’ve built to the side in a moment of stress and overwhelm. My higher self knew that I had changed my own life (and those of clients) through home. So what was I missing in that moment? What is the secret ingredient that makes my work matter?
Energy.
BAM. The message came through with crystal clarity.
I’m offering the promise of heart centered living.
Not a perfectly organized house.
Not a foolproof system.
Not minimalism itself as a gateway for a more simple and meaningful life.
I’m offering a shift into heart centered living through home. Because when you’re living from the heart you naturally know how to organize, you naturally know how to maintain a system, you naturally know how to live with less in exchange for living more.
So yes, we may purge a whole attic worth of belongings, rearrange the furniture, or design a functional entry way, but those are all energetic shifts toward heart centered living; all opportunities to help you get crystal clear and live in alignment with what matters most to you.
Because that clarity on what matters? It lives in the heart. Decluttering, organizing, and space planning are processes to guide you there.
While the mind will tell you that fitting in, playing the part, and working your butt off to achieve the next goal or check the next box is what makes life meaningful, your heart knows that it’s all a facade.
Your heart knows that to live a good life is to love and be loved, to feel connected to something greater than yourself, to dream and build and create, to grow and expand, to feel your way through the miracle we call life.
Even when the world is on fire. Even when you have a sink full of dishes, the dog is out of food, the kids need go to to the dentist, it’s your mom’s birthday, you just ran out of milk, and you can’t remember when you last showered.
When you’re living from the heart you can flow through it all; you can take it all in stride knowing it will be okay. Knowing you are supported, and like all storms in the past, you will find your way through.
What a gift it is to be alive.
With so much love and light,
